Mandate

The mandate which is the focus of the DIPAC organization and its leadership is:

1. To monitor the status of Pension Plan #0242727 as well as other Benefit Plan provisions applicable to the group;

2. To undertake appropriate initiatives should there be indications that the pension and other benefit rights applicable to the group could be affected adversely by legislation or sponsor initiated action;

3. To maximize the numbers of Active Members in the organization, and to maximize the numbers of pensioners with whom the organization has contact;

4. To initiate appropriate funding for both the routine and the extraordinary activities of the organization;

5. To communicate with Active Members of the organization and, to the extent that funds permit;

6. To communicate and engage with other parties as might be appropriate and as might be arranged;

7. As a founding member of the Canadian Federation of Pensioners, support the organization and participate in selected issues beneficial to DIPAC;

8. Develop a positive working relationship with INVISTA.
